Thank you for this wonderful article. I share the exact same fear and I am usually that guy too. But I just read this article on my phone, and rode with my son the "Kingdom Coaster" at Dutch Wonderland. It's a good start for me. Thank you!!!!

Whenever I am afraid, I always remember the saying "once you feel fear, go for it!". This doesn't work all the time especially when I begin to reason in my mind. Aside from the fear of heights and speed, there are other reasons why I'm afraid of roller coasters. One thing is I am afraid that a roller coaster will go off track, which I blame the movies for giving me this idea. I am also afraid that the buckle, keeping me from my sit, would broke, allowing me to fall. Great tips Roberto, I can relate with them.

I can't stand liars. Just like you, it is one of my big, if not the biggest, pet peeves. I don't know why it is so impirtant for me to be surrounded by honesty.
There is plenty of people who have lost my friendship just because I found out they lied. Even if it is painful I rather know the truth.

BTW, great website!

Thank you so much for writing this. I'm going to Six flags tomorrow and am terrified, but I can relate to so many things you've written in this article, it makes me feel a lot more relaxed about tomorrow. I am afraid of heights, I know the feeling of being pressured into a ride, and yes, I have been the coat hanger for a few theme park trips. Letting this fear go and allowing myself to have as much fun as everyone else around me is one of the main ideas that grasped from this article, and tomorrow, I think I can make it happen! Thanks again!

I think this is a good post. Even I'm not too care about my birthday. After read your post, suddenly I imagine that birthday is like a pitstop. A time where we can refuelling and adjusting ourself for a better life.

You may also like this article about raising a child without gender: http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/americas/05/27/canada.gender.storm/index.html?hpt=T2

It is an especially interesting choice as the parents decided not to disclose the child's sex on birth announcements.

I am on the phone with hospitals & MD's offices throughout the day. I will usually doodle either boxes or caracitures. For some odd reason yesterday while talking with someone I ended up with something that looked very much like Dr. Seuss's Grinch.
Analyze that! :>)
